The 11th March 2016 marked the centenary of the birth of former Labour Prime Minister Harold Wilson and this year is also 50 years since his most impressive general election win.
With four general election victories, Harold was one of the longest serving Prime Ministers of the twentieth century.
Here at Harold Wilson House, we thought it only right that we should mark this occasion and so to celebrate Harold’s centenary we are holding a special Stand up for Labour night on Thursday 21st April.
Hosted by Glenis Willmott MEP and Crispin Flintoff, who set up Stand up for Labour, the night is sure to be a fun-packed evening with friends and colleagues from right across the region. Comedians on the night include:
Scott Bennett, Yorkshire’s Peter Kay!
Norman Lovett, Red Dwarf star and deadpan genius!
Steve Day, the UKs only deaf comedian and one of the most in demand headline acts in the country!
The event is being held at the Polish Eagle Club, 2 Sherwood Rise, Nottingham, NG7 6JN.
Ticket prices are:
Early bird (before 1st April): £12
Standard (after 1st April): £15
On the door: £20
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your ticket to today.
We hope you will join with us in celebrating!
