Here in the UK many workers’ rights including paid parental leave, equal treatment for part-time and agency workers and paid holiday and sick pay, are protected through our membership of the EU.

Following the Referendum in June this year, the UK voted to leave the EU putting at risk the rights that are currently protected under our membership of the EU.

Join us in calling on the government to making a commitment to protecting these rights through UK law following Brexit.

The rights and welfare of every individual is imperative for a fair and just society. The progress and protections now implemented within employment law and statutes achieved must be kept within this country in order that fairness and equality remain within the workplace for every individual, especially the vulnerable and low paid. This applies in particular to workers within the Public Sector.

I did not vote to leave and as we must, I would like a man who is capable of negotiating for the sake of the country, rather than a woman who declared war on the EU and is only interested in the concerns of the mega-rich
