We are delighted to announce that the East Midlands Awards Dinner 2012 is being held on Friday 23 March 2012 at The Westgate Suite, Westgate, Long Eaton, Derbyshire.

The Labour Party has some of the most hard working and dedicated members and our Awards Dinner is to celebrate their achievements and thank them for the loyalty that they have given to the Labour Party both locally and regionally.

Awards Dinner 2010

The 2012 dinner will be hosted by Glenis Willmott, Labour MEP for the East Midlands and Labour's Leader in Europe, and we are delighted that Dan Jarvis MP, Shadow Business Minister, will be our guest of honour and will present the winners with their awards.

This year's event is being held at The Westgate Suite, Long Eaton, which is ideally located between Nottingham and Derby and is easily accessible from the M1.

Awards winners 2010

Nominations for the East Midlands Membership Awards 2012 are now open.

Do you know a member who has gone the extra mile for the Labour Party in the East Midlands. Has a young member made a special contribution to your party over the last twelve months? Or maybe you have someone in your local party who is always looking for opportunities to raise money and should be nominated for the Fundraiser of the Year.

We are looking for all kinds of exceptional Labour members who are worthy of an award at this year's event. If you know of someone who should be nominated for one of the awards below then please let us know. You can either fill in the form at the bottom of this page or alternatively email the details to vicky_street@labour.org.uk - just make sure your nomination reaches us by Friday 9 March 2012.
